MYSPHERA, a company specialising in transforming health systems through visibility and optimising health care processes through loT solutions, had closed a financing round for €2.5M, which will allow it to consolidate its position in Spain, and carry out international expansion plans in Europe, United States and Latin America.
The operation has been subscribed to by the Hispanic-Israeli management company Swanlaab Venture Factory, Banco Sabadell – through its investment vehicle Sabadell Venture Capital, and Aliad (venture capital investor for Air Liquide Group). Ifedes and Andersen Tax & Legal and Fourlaw have been appointed as consultants of this operation.
MYSPHERA has already spent more than five years developing Real Time Localisation Systems (RTLS), and it is revolutionising the market with a new way of managing healthcare processes, known as “Hospital Process Manager”, which brings it a step closer to achieving the new hospital paradigm of “Value-Based Healthcare”, focused on orientating healthcare management to achieving results and on real value offered to the patient.
MYSPHERA's technology platform is able to measure real healthcare processes, offering data and applications to professionals and administrators to improve the efficiency of their activities, saving time, costs and optimising the work carried out by surgeons through a subsequent reduction in waiting lists. Furthermore, it improves patients’ clinical security and provides real time reports on their condition to their family members, displaying information on screens in waiting rooms or via a free app.
Salvador Vera, CEO of MYSPHERA, has confirmed that “this operation is an opportunity for us to extend our hospital management solutions to new international markets, and improve hospital processes on a global scale, positively impacting our customers’s experiences”.
For Verónica Trapa, Managing Director of Swanlaab Venture Factory, “MYSPHERA has a RTLS (Real Time Location System) which significantly outweighs that of competitors, and it is achieving significant penetration in a market with high potential”. Furthermore, “the need to optimise and manage healthcare porcesses, in the public as well as in the private sector, is priority, and it is important to make the most of this momentum to perfectly implement a scalabale growth strategy.” confirmsTrapa.
Raúl Rodríguez, Director of BS Capital, explains that “the main objective of our venture capital division is to support the initial stages of entrepreneurial projects, we are looking to accompany technology and digital businesseswith high growth potential and innovative business models.
